Scorn, out on Xbox and PC, is a different kind of body horror

Is it a demon? Is it an alien? Or is it something else? The answer to what kind of horror game Scorn actually is, we have to look at the dictionary meaning of what the name means. According to Oxford languages, the definition of Scorn is “a feeling and expression of contempt or disdain for someone or something.”

This means that the player, who is a creature from another universe, must open paths and go through a hellish journey to find their purpose. This was best described by popular gamer theRadBrad, who said, “I really like how the game doesn’t tell you anything. You just get thrown into it.

According to its Steam description, however, “Scorn is an atmospheric first-person horror adventure game set in a nightmarish universe of strange shapes and dark tapestry.” This means that the more you play, the more you will learn about the game’s story. The body horror game was developed by Serbian independent studio Ebb Software, which first announced the game in 2014.
