Bethesda shares new concept art and music for long-awaited Starfield video game

Bethesda Game Studios has unveiled new concept art and music for the long-awaited video game star field.

And no, unfortunately there is still no gameplay.

In the recently released clip, the creators offered a meaningful insight into how the game’s theme music was created and how they set the tone for the project.

“(With) everything I worked on in this studio, the music started very early, from concept art,” star fieldsaid audio director Mark Lampert.

The video is the third entry in Bethesda’s “Into The Starfield” series, which describes a new element of the game in each episode.

This time around, the developers focused on star fieldthe soundtrack of.

Mr. Lampert has been behind the scenes of many iconic Bethesda games, including Fallout 3. He said one of the first things he started working on when he joined Bethesda in 2005 was the game’s main theme.

“At the moment, Oversight was already well advanced, but as we progressed Fallout 3 after that, it was one of the first things musically – the main theme,” he said.

“The main theme sets the tone for everything we do in the game. And there’s time throughout the project for that to evolve.”

by Starfield Composer Inon Zur, responsible for countless video game soundtracks over the past three decades, says the biggest challenge when composing a game is “creating the signature.”

“Gaming is a complete experience and music is part of the whole experience,” he said.

“My wish is that, in particular the music, is presented in a way that will magnify the whole experience.”

Scattered throughout the latest video are more concept art for the game. Planets, spaceship interiors – it’s quite the tease.

“It’s a blank canvas and a huge playing field, and all the pieces are there for you to write your own story,” Lampert said.

“Music has a fun way of playing the right chord change at the right time, and a lot of it happens randomly.”

The hype is there, but gamers are still waiting for proper gameplay.

star field is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 11 this year.

If the timeline of any of the Bethesda Game Studios the latest big releases are something to pass (Fallout 4 in 2015), we could expect the full gameplay trailer for star field in June, five months before the game’s launch.
