Dead by Daylight is coming to PUBG and spin-off mobile game, New State Mobile

Dead by Daylight is coming to PUBG and its spinoff mobile game, New State Mobile.

PUBG and New State’s October update includes a “full-scale collaboration” with fan-favorite asymmetric horror Dead by Daylight launching October 21 on consoles/PC and October 26 on mobile, “just at time for Halloween” and the first anniversary event mobile title.

“One day it was all consumed by fog. Just like that. No one knows why,” developer Krafton teases. “Expeditions were sent – us right now – to investigate and bring back the buried secrets of the fog. But it didn’t take long for us to discover something more hidden here. We call it the KILLER.

Collaboration between PUBG and Dead by Daylight.

The killer ensures that many teams do not return from the fog. In other words, not only do you have to reveal the mysteries of the fog and escape safely, but you also have to make sure you don’t get slaughtered. But before you begin, be sure to read the shipping guidelines below to increase your chances of survival.”

Expect the usual DbD hijinx, including generators to fix, co-op survivors, and a single killer per match.

As for the mobile event?

“The collaboration theme, Fright for Survival, emphasizes the spirit of Halloween while focusing on each game’s core survival themes,” says developer Krafton. “The video thrillingly depicts the special hide and seek game mode, which takes place in Paradiso on the new Akinta map. Starting October 26, additional short content will also be released to celebrate Halloween.” You can check out the spooky action below.

You can also expect “spooky cosmetics,” including Dead by Daylight items such as helmets, backpacks, frying pans, and parachutes,” as well as costumes depicting some of the “infamous killers” of DbD”. Unlock them by completing mission success events and if you get them all, you’ll get “Dead by Daylight Profile Special Effects” for your efforts.

As for the anniversary event? From November 1-30, Krafton is hosting an in-game event that will release 15 new missions – “one type every day” – as well as anniversary costumes, parachutes, and weapon skins. There will also be a stunning new lobby background while the event is also happening, and as long as you log in between November 1 and November 15, the “Kinda Cute Dance” emote will be yours.

PUBG Mobile has released a new anti-cheat system which it claims has already cut cheating in half.

PUBG: Battlegrounds’ latest update, 20.1, “refines the shooter meta”. Update 20.1 – which went live on October 11 for PC and October 19 for consoles – includes “several improvements to weapon attachments, as well as updates to shooting from vehicles, a new ranked season, world and map updates and quality of life updates”.

Krafton also recently released a new visual teaser for his unannounced project based on the Korean fantasy novel, The Bird That Drinks Tears. The developer says the trailer “illustrates” what audiences can expect from future IP-based entertainment projects “as well as” guiding aesthetic and tonal directions for various multimedia projects based on The Bird That Drinks Tears. , including a graphic novel and a film”.
