It was available for PC, PS4, and mobile devices when it was released. According to the same Sensor Tower report, the game has been downloaded a total of 17 million times in the mobile version alone.

According to the second graph from Sensor Tower titled Genshin Impact Global player spending by quarter, the second quarter of 2021 was the lowest the game has ever seen in terms of revenue. It dropped over $150 million from Q1 to Q2 of 2021. After that, gaming recorded its highest aggregate revenue, nearly doubling revenue from Q2 to Q3 of 2021.

The same report mentions that China has consistently ranked number 1 in player spending market in the mobile version of the game in its first two years. In this country alone, the game generated $1.2 billion, or about 33% of total revenue with only trusted iOS and Android stores outside of China. The second highest paid players are in Japan.
