Indie puzzle game unboxing moves to Xbox Game Pass on November 2

Unboxing developer Witch Beam Games has announced that the game will arrive on Xbox Game Pass on release day. Announced on Twitter earlier today, Unpacking is slated to launch on November 2 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch, but will be free to download if you have an Xbox Game Pass membership.

For those who haven’t heard of the unboxing, the game is described as a “Zen puzzle game” in which players are tasked with unpacking items from a series of boxes and placing them in aesthetic locations within the boxes. corresponding parts. As you do so, you will slowly discover clues about the lives of the people you are unpacking your luggage for.

If unboxing looks like your kind of thing, you can go and Steam game wishlist right now to help the developer, keep up to date with development, and don’t forget the game’s release in November.

However, if you’re looking for something to play on Xbox Game Pass a little earlier, Xbox recently announced 13 new titles to add to the service this month. This includes previously released titles such as Superliminal and Subnautica: Below Zero, but also includes eight new releases with Skatebird, Sable, and Aragami 2 being the crème de la crème.

In other Xbox related news, a massive Geforce Now leak revealed that several Xbox titles, including previously unannounced games, may be heading to Steam at some point in the future. Fable’s upcoming reboot, Halo 5: Guardians and currently unannounced Gears 6 have all been named in the list of potential PC releases.

The roster also includes a bunch of Project titles, including Project Typhoon which we know will be the next title from Avalanche Studios Contraband. Other placeholder names that appear in the list are Project Woodstock and Oxide Unannounced. It should be noted that this list is out of date because a Scalebound list was also found, and just because games are on this list does not mean that a future PC release is planned.
