Rise of the Monster Hunter will bring PC users to the colorful city of Kamura following its Nintendo Switch debut in 2021.
The time has finally come! Capcom today announced that PC gamers can now play Rise of the Monster Hunter in the village of Kamura and its surroundings while fighting monsters. PC gamers will appreciate the performance and visual enhancements of this new PC edition.
Welcome to Kamura Village
A new version also announces the entry of new adventure partners. To survive the approaching Rampage, Kamura’s hunters will have to rely on the new hunting partners. On a hunt, the “Canyne” Palamute friends join the popular “Felyne” Palicoes from the series to support the players.
Canyne’s allies can carry hunters on their backs to quickly pursue any fleeing monsters and traverse vast terrain, in addition to bringing their powerful attack powers to any conflict. Wirebugs, on the other hand, allow hunters to nimbly attack from any direction while hunting, and they can be used with any of 14 weapon types to produce unique “Silkbind Attacks”.
Players can face swarms of huge creatures in the new Rampage quest type added in Rise of the Monster Hunter when not exploring the five vast destinations, such as the Sanctuary Ruins, Flooded Forest, and Sandy Plains.
Hunters must work together with the people of Kamura Village to create defensive fortifications and protect the fortress barriers from waves of attacking monsters, including powerful Apex monsters that may arise during the siege.
