Developer Spare Parts Oasis and publisher Armor Games Studios have announced that the puzzle adventure game Nauticrawl: 20,000 Atmospheres will arrive on iOS on September 23. It was originally released on Steam in 2019 and has been well received by users ever since.
Nauticrawl takes place on a dystopian planet ruled by an elite class. Obviously it’s not a nice place, so you try to escape by stealing a giant robot. The problem is, the vehicle is littered with various buttons, levers and screens that make controlling the mechanism incredibly complex.
So you’ll have to experiment with the commands to find out what they all do. It won’t always end well either, it’s perfectly possible to die in Nauticrawl, but at least you’ll know not to do the same on your next attempt. You can check out the trailer above for a taste of what the game has to offer.
It looks like a perfect fit for a touchscreen, depending on how the controls work. Being able to flip switches, spin dials, and press buttons with your fingers and thumbs could potentially convey a greater sense of involvement than playing the game with a mouse.
About the next mobile version, Andrea Interguglielmi from Spare Parts Oasis said: “I’m super excited to release Nauticrawl on iOS, it’s a journey that lends itself well to little trial and error sessions. I sincerely hope mobile gamers enjoy experimenting with all of the touch controls and gauges scattered throughout the mysterious cockpit. “
Nauticrawl: 20,000 Atmospheres will arrive on the App Store on September 23. It will be a premium title which costs $ 4.99 / £ 4.99 / € 5.49.
