As in every survival game, players must balance the needs and wants of their survivors, manage precious resources, create the things necessary to maintain the shelter, cook meals and build equipment to keep their party alive, and with the improved power system, players can produce energy in new forms.
An improved faction system.
The faction system allows players to form alliances with other groups to provide resources and assistance to their base, or they can grab their weapons and do things the old-fashioned way. The faction leader is the most essential member of a refuge in this new take on the franchise, sporting his own unique and strong qualities, the faction leader will be essential to victory, with his death signifying the end of the game.
After your faction is formed, you and your teammates will use a range of talents, along with the ability to form groups of four and target particular body parts of their enemies, to deal the most visceral damage in scenarios of battle.
