Timekeepers Strategy PC Game Reveals Trailer

Get ready to lock your rafters in place, as one of the most beloved sci-fi franchises of all time, Stargate SG-1, looks like he’s finally going to release a video game. Not really. A trailer for the next one Stargate: Timekeepers The PC strategy game dropped via SlitherineGames’ YouTube channel, and while it doesn’t offer much in the way of visuals, it does drop some juicy tidbit about who is behind the title.

Visually speaking, the trailer offers little more than a swirling CGI stargate and locking rafters in place with shattering cuts to splash screens of text. Part of this text includes “On the part of the producers of Warhammer 40,000, Gladius, and Starship Troopers: Terran Command comes a wholly original story “before the seventh chevron locks into place, sending viewers into a spinning wormhole and revealing the name of the upcoming title: Stargate: Timekeepers.

What must Star gate Are fans, or fans of PC strategy games in general, expecting this next title? According to the official blurb on YouTube, “In Stargate: Timekeepers, players will travel through time and space, save civilians from the threats of their system lords, save their friends and allies from danger, and much more “while adding that the game’s storyline begins at the end of Stargate SG-1 Season 7. Players will control or work alongside Commander Eva McCain as they battle Anubis’ fleet to protect Antarctica, SG-1, and the universe.

But what is the likelihood that SlitherineGames and MGM will follow this time around? After all, Star gate fans and players alike have been heartbroken several times (looking at you, Stargate SG-1: The Alliance, Stargate Worlds, and Stargate: Resistance). But there seems to be a silver lining based on SlitherineGames’ previous successes. Gladius is currently rated 9/10 on Steam and costs US $ 39.99. Terran Command is slated for a 2021 release date and, based on available gameplay footage, features similar mechanics to the already very successful ones Gladius.
