Video Game Day scheduled for November 6 at Penn State DuBois

DUBOIS, PA – The popular Penn State DuBois Video Game Day is back in 2021, with popular games available on consoles and PCs. All members of the public, of all ages, are welcome to attend from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, in the DEF building at Penn State DuBois.

Organized by the campus information technology (IT) club, this event will provide gamers with multiple networked computer labs with PC games, multi-room board games, and tournaments in both Rainbow 6 Siege and Smash Bros. Ultimate.

All gaming systems are configured and networked by IT Club campus members and computer science students who gain hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining this huge gaming network.

Pre-registration can be done at istlab.net. Pre-registration is $ 5 per person and limited to 200 people. Admission is $ 10 for those who register at the door.

Face masks are mandatory at this indoor Penn State event. Participants are also urged to note that due to COVID-related restrictions, food and drink will not be available as they were at previous Video Game Day events. From this event, attendees can purchase food and drink from Burger Daddy’s food truck, which will be located in the parking lot next to the DEF building.
