What Lies in the Multiverse Trailer Gives Puzzle Game Release Date

Playstation released a trailer for the upcoming game What Lies in the Multiverse. The video shows us a lot of gameplay, while also revealing the release date of it. The game is developed by Studio Voyager and IguanaBee, and is published by Untold Tales.

The trailer immediately shows us some gameplay, showing off the multi-dimensional platforming that will be featured in the game. It then cuts to a scene where the main character is talking to a man named Everett, whom he will help throughout the game, it seems, to fix a mess. We then get more gameplay showing the different environments you’ll be able to navigate through the game, and also showing more scenes hinting that Everett is in trouble. The dialogue also shows off the game’s humor, with the final scene featuring two scientists. In it, they see Everett and the protagonist going in and out of this universe as the scientists watch, and a man named Dan reacts by saying “That’s enough, Bill. I’m going back to my parents.”

What Lies in the Multiverse is a puzzle platformer that has a mechanic involving moving between dimensions. Thanks to this mechanic, the player will be able to switch between worlds at any time, which will completely transform your environment and open up new paths for you to travel.
